About CashOut SEA
CashOut SEA is an independent guide to turning crypto into local cash - and back - across Southeast Asia. For each city we map the working routes (peer-to-peer escrow, OTC desks, licensed exchanges and, where they exist, crypto ATMs) and what each realistically costs in spread, time and paperwork.
How we compile the numbers
The cost ranges on each page are indicative, not live quotes. They reflect the typical spread structure for each route type in that market: escrow P2P sits tightest at small size, OTC desks widen with cash and size, licensed exchanges add withdrawal costs, and ATMs sit well above mid. Less liquid assets carry wider spreads than USDT. We review the ranges periodically and stamp each page with the month it was last reviewed.
What we don't do
We don't hold funds, quote live prices or execute trades. We point you to the route types and the things that actually go wrong - screenshot 'payments' that never cleared, quotes that move at the meeting, zero-KYC offers priced too well to be real. Where we mention a specific service, it's because it fits that route; always compare at least two quotes yourself.
Nothing here is financial or legal advice. Rules and rates change - verify live conditions before transacting.
